Even if you add a rider for valuables, coverage is strictly capped (often at 10% of your total policy limit, and 2% per item) — limits that a serious silver holding quickly exceeds. Furthermore, Israeli insurers require high-value items to be itemized, appraised, and stored in an anchored safe meeting exact specifications (e.g., C1 or C2 standard, bolted to concrete). Before assuming you are covered: call your insurer, state exactly what you hold, and get their coverage limits and safe requirements in writing. Always keep your purchase invoices as proof of value.
